In my youth, I often looked through the box of old family images and negatives that was stored far away in the closet. Who are these people and what do they mean to me? While at college, my Architectural studies allowed me the opportunity to work in the Photo Lab. This experience enabled me to take those negatives and make them real, and as such was my first opportunity to create a family album and to understand our family's history. The start of a life long effort!
The advent of the computer and the internet just made it all that much easier. Over the years I have enjoyed making connections with family in the name of family research. There is a lot of information available from various sources and it takes one family member to organize it and make it available to all!
As past president of Clan MacCallum/Malcolm Society of North America Inc and now their "Family History Coordinator" I truly value our rich heritage and I endeavor to assist others in their ancestry quest.

 | Dodds Hi, thanks for the photo's of Jeanet Dodd's headstone. I see you also have created memorials for her husband John and son Woodrow and was wondering if you are related, and if not, could you transfer them to me? Thanks again for the photo's. Melodey | | | Pam Wiedemann

 | RE: Photo in Cartwright Cemetery Excellent news!
It is great that these two small town cemeteries get documented on Find a Grave. Am quite happy to cooperate when corrections are needed. I will move on to some of the other local cemeteries that also deserve some work on Find a Grave.
For sure let me know if you want me to transfer any of your relations. Or if you need a retake of any of the headstones. I will probably be back to Cartwright/Holmfield at least a couple of times this summer.
BTW, did you get the actual burial records for Holmfield? I suspect there are a quite a few unmarked graves in that cemetery. | | | Tracy Anne
 | Photo in Cartwright Cemetery Hi Neil:
Thanks for adding those grand photos to the memorials I created in Cartwright Cemetery. They look great and the info on them certainly helps to fill out the memorial pages.
I have been adding burials from records transcribed in the local history book and planned to eventually photograph the headstones. But your pics are greatly appreciated. I live a fair distance away and only visit the hometown sporadically, so all help is appreciated.
I have family connections to Cartwright so am related to some of the people buried in the cemetery. However, if there are any memorials you want to manage, just let me know.
Cheers,
