I have found additional info on your Cornelius Tyson-Tison question. According to Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia-Folks Huxford v 1 p 280: He was the son of NC Revolutionary Soldier Cornelius Tison who married Elizabeth Watson. Cornelius Tison 1790-1863 is buried Flat Creek Cem, Berrien Co, GA site unmarked. He married Barbara Hayman 1785-abt 1785, she us buried Flat Creek Cem, Berrien Co, GA site unmarked.
Huxford states that Cornelius & Barbara appear to have moved to GA in the 1790's [probably from a land grant for RS military service]. The family '..appears to have lived in Burke Co, GA and Screven Co, GA before moving to Tattnall Co, GA. They lived in Tattnall Co, GA a few years before moving to Irwin Co, GA. [there by 1850]
Huxford's bio is unclear as to which Cornelius lived in those countied.
Barbara's findagrave # 54186837 Cornelius findagrave # 97053202.
Maybe this is some help,
