I was just pasting info that I found on the Personal History book to the appropriate memorials. I had hoped perhaps the extra info would help someone out with their family research.
Here is the link for the Genealogical and Personal History of the Allegheny Valley... if you search through it you will see the other 'Cross' family history...Samuel, William, Samuel, Wilson, John Floyd, there actually seems to be quite a bit written on the Cross family compared to some other families mentioned in this book.

I see that there are 15 people buried in Harmony Cemetery with the surname of Cross
but I am sorry to say we (my sister and I) just
transcribed the whole cemetery and I do not
know how they are related. I re-looked at his memorial and I saw that someone added a short
bio for Samuel. If you click on her name maybe
she can give you more info than we can or tell you how she got the info.
