I have tried to fulfill your photo request, however by this time her stone is even more harder to read. I had to chalk the front ( comes right off with water) to even be able to read all it said. The inscription at the bottom is very withered but I will surely work on it in the next could days to figure what it says. I will send a photo to your e-mail of what the stone is now before chalking it. Sorry I didn't get to your request sooner, just joined Find a Grave not too long ago

Thanks for the information! I went ahead and did the links for Eliza. With regard to her husband Alfred Hill, I was able to figure out his parents because I live fairly close to the cemetery and have spent some time transcribing and photographing it. I knew which Hills were buried in the cemetery and, using Ancestry and making the occasional census record correction, I was able to figure out the relationships. It was a little tricky because Alfred parents were living separately, with different daughters, in 1880. Also, for some reason, Alfred's gravestone was spelled "Alered." Admittedly, that was a little confusing.

Maybe this is your first contact.
If you receive a response from dawn sherman, would you please let me know? I have been trying to contact her for quite a while, but it does not seem she has been active since 2007. Your relative's photo in Sept. 2007 was one of her last entries.
Thank you, .. Jerry
