Retired and becoming obsessed with my family tree. Zipped through my mother's father since he came from a large, well-known family. Other family members had already done the work and I found all my information (unverified) back to the 12th century on free internet sites. Trying to start now on my mother's mother, but the family was small with much-too-common names. I am hitting brick wall after brick wall and resisting paying a fortune to a big genealogy site. At the moment I am definitely enjoying the challenge of maneuvering through the back byways.|
If anyone has any information on the following TALBOT COUNTY, GA. people, I would love to hear from you: John D. Allen (c.1838), Elizabeth Cameron Allen (c.1847), John A. Cameron (c.1808 SC), Elizabeth Nelson Cameron (c.1807), James J.W. Allen (c.1813 SC), and Jane B. Johnston Allen (c.1813 SC).

Hi, thank you for photographing the grave of Preston Bussey CHILDS (1905-1960), #167277911. However, you have posted it to Mem. #46277687 for Preston Benona CHILDS (1873-1952). Would you mind moving it to Mem. #167277911 ? I appreciate your work photographing this cemetery. Thanks again - John

|Darel Rayburn||Rayburn Information|
My name is Darel Rayburn, and I'm looking into Elizabeth Rayburn in Taylor County, Ga. The memorial says she was married to John Rayburn, and I'm researching the Rayburn/Raburn family tree. Do you have any other information on this family, or can you put me in touch with someone who does? email@example.com
please correct the information you have listed for my aunt and uncle who were brother and sister...

|Shelley Miller||Shepherd/Shepard Grave photos|
Thank you so much for the wonderful photos of the Shepherd family graves at the Barfield-Shepherd Cemetery. I was thrilled to see them! I am a descendant of Annie Johnson Shepherd. She is also buried there - I was wondering if you snapped a photo of her grave or any of her babies (Calista, Henry, PG) laid to rest there? maybe they do not have a headstone?
Thanks again for the photographs!!!

|Anonymous Graver||Byrd memorials|
Something strange has been going on here. I created all the Byrd memorials for Crowell cemetery that were not already created, including Quinton, Russell Warren, Abner, Albert, Bell, D.W. (1897), Emma Kilby Byrd, Estelle Waters Byrd, Herman G., Ida R., J.S., Jason E., Jesse B. and wife Mary Lizzie Hortmon Byrd, Joe Dixon, Luther H., Roland E. and Wyolene. All 18 memorials are missing. I reviewed all my memorials again last night and some like Anna's have the bio's on two memorials mixed together. Other memorials I created in other cemeteries have the last letter of all names missing, some have just the 1st or last names but not both, others have one or both dates missing. Some where I entered "Infant Son" in the bio section had been changed to "Infant Male". I thought no one could edit a bio but the one who manages it. I verify my memorials after I create them so I know it wasn't something I did. Any idea what is going on?
Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo requests! You took some great pictures, too. Photo volunteers are such caring people, and I really appreciate your taking time out of your life to do something just for me. Have a blessed day!
