Archers
After looking closely, I'm not sure this is the same family. John Franklin Archer is listed in the 1850 census in the household of Isaac and Margaret Williams Archer. I have a marriage record for them as well as her mother, Frances Williams, living whit them. The Elizabeth Curry Archer I found was married to Daniel Archer. Jackson is listed in her household in Mississippi in 1850. But the dates fit to be the same family in Colbert county later. It looks like I may be looking for another Jackson Archer. Thank you for the information.

RE: Archer Family
Thanks for the information. We are researching the same family. I am from his brother, John Franklin Archer's line. I had Cornelius as well but I do think Curry is more likely correct. I have Tin types of the brothers, and one of Isaac. And I have an ambro type on glass of John and one of Isaac. If you would like I can email you copies. You may have seen them through Ancestry.com. But I took some of them off. The Isaac Archer who ends up in Texas or Arkansas is not the same person. Several tress had them posted for the wrong people. I sent messages to some letting them know. I never heard back from some of the people and the pictures were still posted. In most cases it would not bother me but these were very important to my mom and I value them dearly. I have verified both Isaacs are living at the same time in different places. Our Isaac lived most if not all his life in Alabama. I am updating my tree on ancestry.com to reflect our most recent research. I compiled a lot of what is on there early in my ancestry.com days and I am afraid I have collected some information that is not sourced. I am "fixing" that. Thanks for the information!

Archer Family
Brandon,
I noticed the memorial you created for Jackson Curry Archer in Alabama. This may be the same Archer family I am researching. I am looking for the brothers of John Franklin Archer b 1848-d 1910. I have seen family trees with a brother with the name of Jackson listed but I have found little information. If you have any info. it would be helpful. If it is the same family, I may have several tin types of him and his brothers.
