DEFINITION OF A MEMORIAL: A memorial is a statue, holiday or statement in honor of an event or someone who has passed away.
TRANSFER REQUESTS are made in accordance with Find A Grave guidelines. Your relationship MUST be included in transfer requests. I confirm a relationship before transferring a memorial.
BIO'S and links should NOT be removed from transferred memorials. Please be respectful of the time and effort that goes into writing an individual biography. Individuals who do this will be refused future transfer requests.
TRANSFERS, UPDATES AND CORRECTIONS must be made with the SAC EDIT tab on each memorial. Requests made via personal email or FAG public message board will NOT be honored. FAG gives 30-days to respond to requests. Requests should be made in a courteous and respectful manner. PLEASE and THANK YOU go a long way.
DUPLICATIONS: Duplicate memorials are not created intentionally. If you find a duplicate memorial, please notify me and I will make the correction. FAQ 141
WRONG CEMETERY: Obituaries, news articles and burial records and even death certificates, may contain incorrect or unclear information about the burial. Very often a cemetery has been referred to by many different names and the one you find on FAG, may not be the cemetery name used on other documents. If you find a memorial you believe is in the wrong cemetery, please notify me, and include the source of your information. I will confirm and move the memorial, with proper source documentation.
COPYRIGHT: All written and photographic materials are protected by copyright laws. You must have written permission from the originator to them. After being given permisson, you should document the creator's information, the source, and a web link to the source, when possible. Please refer to Find A Grave FAQ's.
GOOD MANNERS: Being a volunteer member of Find A Grave is a privilege, not a right. No one "owns" a memorial, even if they created it. Please and thank you are always appreciated in any communication.

Could you give me instructions on how to set the memorial up, please and thank you.
|Larry Wilson||Riverview Cemetery|
I recently acquired an Excel spreadsheet file with over 8,700 graves for Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon County. The spreadsheet contains names, dates, plot, and section. It appears to be current to 2001. I can email it to you if you are interested.

May I please adopt the grave of Albert John Lipp (1931-2002). He was my mother's mother's brother.
|pSnitwong||RE: unmarked grave memorial|
Thank you for your kind reply. I would be happy to do it myself but I don't know how. If someone would take the time to walk me through it I would appreciate it.
|Sandra Deeds||Alfred Foor|
Alfred is buried in Rays Cove cemetery, his wife just passed away on November 14,2013. I have added her memorial to the records. Alfred's parents were Henry S Foor (65813690) and Etta Foor (65813887). Would you please add this information to his memorial. He was a half brother to my grandfather Albert J. Foor, Also buried in the Rays Cove cemetery.
Thanks for your help.

I was looking at the list of the WINGERTSZAHN's who they say are buried there. There are only 7 with that last name buried there. I've been working on my family tree since the late 1970's. I know where every ancestor is buried and every cemetery. My plan is to look up the death notice from the newspaper and make up all the memorials. I already have all the headstone pictures.

I see you have a bunch of my ancestors memorial's from West Liberty cemetery. You have spelled the last's names wrong. The correct spelling is WINGERTSZAHN. Can you please correct this or transfer the memorial to me so I can make the corrections.

I would like to request and establish a memorial entry for Dolly Gertrude Clair infant daughter of Martha Clapper Clair and Rev. James William Clair. I received her death certificate yesterday and the following information was on it:
date of birth: June 18, 1905
date of death: July 17, 1906
age at death: 1 yr. 1 mo.
Place of Burial or Removal: Hummel, Huntington Co
date of burial: July 18, 1906
My relationship to Dolly Gertrude Clair is that of niece (She would have been my mother's half sister).
