I am from Ohio and became interested in genealogy about 8 years ago to fulfill a lifelong wish of my mother, to find her family roots. I never dreamed that 8 years later I would have over 1500 people in my family tree, dating back over 20 generations and still growing. I really enjoy the hunt and the satisfaction of coming face to face with proof of a family member from the past and helping others do the same while I'm searching for my ancestors.|
My permission is given for the use of any photos taken by me for genealogy purposes only.
I welcome corrections, additional information and requests for linking family members.
I will gladly transfer memorials as long as the person requested is not in my lineage .

Yes, thanks. I'll make several related transfer requests via SAC to make it easy for you.

The death year I gave you was my mistake; it should be 1892. The difference is the death date on the grave marker and the death date given in the Licking County Probate Court Death Records, book 2, pp. 68 (9 Aug 1892). Working with county officials when I transcribed the death record books we never were able to find the source of anything. It is obvious that entries in the book were made in batches so the info was not recorded direct from the person making the report. As to whether the book or the grave marker is correct, who knows? Perhaps neither. If you use the date and age on the stone, the birth date is February 18, 1891. The name is as listed in the death record book.
These people are not related to me so you may transfer or not, as you wish.
sorry for the duplication :( My computer is lagging.

Hey Sharon - Could you check out this memorial. It appears it may have the wrong picture connected to it. I have it if you need it but I think you could probably repost it using her husband's memorial. Thanks - Jim
