Tyree Manley CSA
This soldier is buried in a mass grave without a headstone. The mass grave is marked with this stone. He is with his fellow men from South Carolina.
My friend got 2 photos, but Tyree has no stone with his name on it.
You can get a stone from the government for free, since you have proof that he is buried there!

RE: Thomas Edward Manley
I hope I deleted and added the right info!
On any memorial you can click on Request A Photo, and a volunteer in the area will get the photo for you.
I have asked my friend to look for Tyree Manley's grave at Blandford.

RE: Dollie Ann Garrett
Michelle,

Thanks for the following info you sent:
"Dolly was the daughter of James and Sarah Brooks. James was killed in the battle of Spotsylvania in 1864."

I was wondering how you found this info and what documentation you have. I have never been able to find anything because none of my family knew anything "concrete" to search for. I even have her in my tree on Ancestry, but it's hard finding documentation when all I had was her first name & married name.

In the 1880 U.S. Federal Census, Dollie/Dolly & Bluford had a 1 year old daughter named Mary E. Garrett. I am uncertain of what became of their daughter. Do you have any info on this baby girl?

Any info you can provide with where to look for documentation would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
Peggy Kelley
