Hello! I have two small children, I work full time and I attend college at night (for the second time). With what little free time I have left, I enjoy doing family research. I have been researching my mother's side VonAxelson, Brake and McCranie families and my father's side Dyal, Godwin, Baggett, Davis, Brewton. I also like doing research on my husband's family Ward, Johnson (two different lines) and Habersham. My dream is to go on an adventure to actually see all the graves and areas where our ancestors lived. Until then, I'll stick with findagrave! Thanks for any info you might have on our family lines.

I hope to organise images to be taken at the end of June by a British Army man; best, Martin D. Packer.

RE: Bertha
You know, I tried to find it too and couldn't find anything. I was wondering if the cemetary name is right.

Dahlonega Washington Dyal
So the Dahlonega Washington Dyal my line comes through was married to Ida Alice Wilkes. My grandmother Bertha Lurana Dyal Tillman is my grandmother. Is this the same family? Are you from a brother or perhaps uncle?

Just wondering how we might be related. Dahlonega Washington Dyal is my great-grandfather.

David Godwin
RE: Zannie Cobb Davis Godwin
Most likely I am not a direct relative. I leave flowers for every Godwin I encounter on Findagrave. My family settled in west central Indiana in the very early 1800s. I have not been able to get past my G-G-G-grandfather, Alan, but believe he arrived in Indiana from Maryland.
