Let me know. No relation by the way, just trying to help. Sue

Carl Buchanan
I've been thinking about Carl Buchanan. He is buried at the same cemetery as my Aunt Elizabeth "Betty" Sturm Allison and her husband, Robert Allison. I called the cemetery to make sure that this Elizabeth Allison was my Aunt.....the lady at the cemetery was extremely helpful.....she gave me information of and beyond (which I already had , no mistake, this was my Aunt and Uncle).
Now I don't know how much information you have or don't have.....
Have you tryed calling the cemetery to see if you could get the name of funeral home that was used? Name of informant? Was he married at the time of death? Obituary? Etc.Etc Etc.
Helen his wife in the 1940 Census was born in Montana.
Carl and Helen are living with his brother, Myron Buchanan and wife.....

As an enrolled member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes they should be able to locate something.
Have you been in touch with them?

POLSON - Melvin J. "Bud" Broadbent, 78, of Polson passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 16, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Fort Harrison.
Bud was born June 5, 1920, in Wetonca, S.D., to Oscar and Nettie (Coombs) Broadbent. Raised and educated in South Dakota, Bud joined the Army Air Corps during World War II and served as an aircraft mechanic.

Bud married Louise A. Turnage on Jan. 22, 1963, in Sandpoint, Idaho. They made their home in Missoula until 1970, when they moved to Helena and lived on a ranch. In 1989, they moved to Polson to be closer to family.
