I was born in the Midwest, but have lived most of my life in the south. I was stationed in Germany for a time, and have otherwise done a little travel to Europe and Asia. I spend far too much time on the computer, enjoy a good frappuccino, and I LOVE cats.
I am pretty new to genealogical research - it's something I have wanted to delve into for quite some time, but I never got the opportunity to do so until recently.
My primary family names are Sullivan, McCoy, Withee, Fredendall, Washburn, Nesbit, Schmidt, Petersen, Meyer, Markman, Pease, Millikan, Donnan, and still counting.
I view the memorials on this site as living tributes to our loved ones. I strive to "reunite" them with family, and if I am able, to add a personal detail or two about them.
Please feel free to use any photos I have uploaded for your family research work. I am pleased and honored to assist, and will gladly turn over memorials I created to family members.
In conclusion, I wish to extend a special thanks to all the other Find A Grave contributors. You have supplied a wealth of information to me and my family which I cannot repay with a simple thanks. Bless each and every one of you.

 | RE: Kent Nelson I have not yet confirmed burial location for Shurley, and I am not sure that Janet has died, although she would be well into her nineties. I will see if any family members back in Nebraska know for sure. Thanks! | | | Cynthia Schenck
 | Thanks I have "home work" to do on the site!. Thanks for spotting the lack of Clara's photo on her site. I will check and make sure about the Merlin's and William's, and the Albert's (Craig's). Names were definitely passed down in my family, and I do need to be careful! Cindy | | | Cynthia Schenck
 | RE: PS: Merlin Would you happen to be related to Brumfield McCoy? He is the 3rd great grandfather of my husband. Brumfield was born Jun 1785 in Montgomery, Virginia, USA. His death: 4May1857 in Wise Co, VA. Cindy | | | Cynthia Schenck
 | RE: PS: Merlin Thank you, thank you. Please, if time, view memorial #44355467. Albert, Merlin's father is buried in Mitchellville. He is my Great Uncle x2. Thank you. I will view the map! 9,000 plus graves in the LA cemetery. I will never grouse about our sometimes 100+ that may or may not have maps!! Thanks again! Cindy | | | MrsB
 | RE: Links, Edits, Photos Thanks, Sheila! I will go back to that Blanche Davis plot Block 96, and see who is already in Find A Grave. Also I will put in a memorial for Dorothy L. VaGash, once I get a picture to put with it :) Yes, the weather is a little cooler here--it feels like a real spring.Added by MrsB on May 24, 2013 9:30 PM | | | MrsB
 | RE: Guyer Thanks, Sheila! This has been interesting for me. Those obituaries definitely help, as well as giving me a picture of the times.

 | RE: Jensen's Thanks so much! My husband, David Wardell, is son of Enid Grace Jensen, and grandson of Soren and Anna Sine Jensen. There are hundreds of descendants given they had 13 children, and several of them had 6 - 12 children themselves. I am working through the genealogical information and matching it on Ancestry. As I find more information, I will pass it along.

 | RE: Blair You're very welcome. I couldn't positively make a connection with Emilie Berg and the Kegler's but her headstone looks like it is part of the family plot.
Julius Kegler's mother is listed as Emily when he was married (Jul 28, 1874) and on the 1870 census his household is him and a 50 yr old Emilia Kegler. If Emilie Berg is his mother, I don't know where the "Berg" came from. - BillAdded by Bill W on May 24, 2013 1:14 PM | | | William Foley
 | RE: Fred ? Sanfred - Duplicate? I was home in December. I got home last Saturday afternoon and leave to go back next Thursday. I am slowed down with a torn calf muscle but still trying to get some photographing done while I am home. | | | | [View all messages...] |
