I'm new to Find-A-Grave, so please bear with my mistakes and faux pas :-)|
Anyone who wants to use my photographs has my permission to do whatever they wish with them! No need to ask me, individually.
NOTE: Due to an auto accident 10/29/12 during Hurricane Sandy, I will be temporarily unable to resume my photographic volunteer duties, until further notice, thank you! I attempted to drive through a section of flooded road on Rt. 328, and lost control of my truck, which was "totaled" and broke three vertebra in the process.

|Dena Marshall||Isaac McCoy Polk|
I hope you may be able to help me. My Polk line from Captain Charles Polk is:
Captain Charles Polk
Edward "Edmond" Polk
Isaac McCoy Polk
Edward Byrum Polk
Mary Elizabeth Polk
William Lawrence Wene
Edward Lawrence Wene
Edward Lawrence Wene / Brown
Edena Louise Brown (Me)
I need help documenting Edward "Edmond" Polk as the father of Isaac McCoy Polk. Although there is a lot of info on family trees, etc. that Isaac is the 5th (youngest) child of Edward "Edmond" and Achsy VanMeter, I am having a difficult time locating proof (ie: Bible record, family history, etc.) Edward "Edmond" died in the War of 1812 a relatively young man. This was before census records listed names of all individuals in a household, before birth certificates and death certificates. Can you help. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
I am so happy to know your back on line again...I missed you my friend,I really did.What
are the chances of you coming out here this summer so we can take you out to visit your Uncle (?)Issacs grave & old homestead etc ?

You will notice the stone was extremely worn and hard to read. Having no knowledge of the man, I did not know his date of birth. Thanks for the information

|Kocart||Graves at Hillside Cemetery|
Hillside is a rather big cemetery and I have tried to document endangered stones. I have not added links to them, since it is beyond the kind of time commitment my family would put up with.. But I'll gladly add anything you need if you request it. I hope my corrections for the Morehouse family meet your expectations. If you prefer I can transfer management to you of these are your family members.

Your corrections are done. Thank you,
