Just started looking into my family tree, but was fortunate enough to have other family members who were interested in the task before me. My family is mostly from the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area and I'm eager to learn as much as I can about them.
Family Names: Borkowski, Gardner, Kagler, Lesawicz, McAfee, Mulherin, Smurl, Tingley, Washeleski, Yanovitch
As for photos: I generally allow useage; but I think it's courteous to ask first. If you're rude, don't expect a possitive response. Remember- the volunteers are doing YOU the favor.
As to Edits/transfer requests: Use the Edit tab for the memorial in question. This is what it was designed for. I don't understand why people make extra work for themselves (leaving the memorial page to find the memorial caretaker's page to write a request) and for the person who needs to do the edits/transfers (they have to search their memorials to hopefully find the correct one YOU'RE talking about and if it's a transfer- track down the id number of the person it should go to.) I will not answer any requests left on my wall or in the flowers- so be kind and follow the rules of the site. Also, what was said about photos applies here, the edit tab is to suggest edits- demanding I change something will be seen as rude and will be ignored. | |

 | RE: Yuknavich Family And Pacropis S,
I completed the transfers. I know what you mean by spelling variations... it was amazing how many variations (or spellings of names that were just close) that I found of Majikes at Holy Trinity/Bear Creek.

 | Yuknavich Family S,
I just posted a picture of Anthony Yuknavich's marker from the family plot at Holy Trinity Lithuanian Cemetery, Bear Creek. I also created memorial pages for Adele, Rose, Frank, Pauline, & Joseph Yuknavich with pictures. Do you want me to transfer management of these pages to you? Let me know.

 | RE: Zadilko S, LOL....yes, St Martha's is definitely a little rural. I went to high school near there and recognized a lot of family names and saw a few classmates that I didn't realize had passed on.
take care, paul | | | Linda C. English
 | RE: Elizabeth Detrick You are most welcome. I'm still working on it and if I find anything, I'll let you know. Happy Researching! | | | Roger Borroel
 | Thomas J. Friel SisterSonya: Was your relative, Mr. Thomas J. Friel, ever a federal employee in Chicago during the Prohibition era? Was he ever a Pennsylvania state trooper? I know that a Thomas J. Friel was from Scranton, Pennsylvania, and that he was a prohibition agent in Chicago about, 1929-1931. I'm an author on this era, and want to know if this relative of yours was a prohibition agent in Chicago.~Sincerely, Roger | | | Spaceman Spiff
