 | Find A Grave Memorial# 45393682 i was just looking at your note on Cinderella Cantrell Trimble and see that you are related to her as well. She is my 2nd cousin 2x removed. I tried to put in a photo request for the headstone but it won't let me because it says one already exists. Do you live in the area she is buried or know of anyone who might be able to get a pic? thanks, pat eggerhouse@hotmail.com

 | RE: John Gaugier Oh My. Your family sounds like my mother's family with the name Jacob. The only way we can keep them all straight in our minds is to use their birth/death dates when we refer to them. Good luck. Larry will continue searcing on Ancestry.com to see what he finds out. Normally we don't do research for people, but this has gotten a hold on him. lol
Blessings! Karen | | | Carmen Greene
 | Seal Harbor Ceme yes, Charlene,
I thought about that as I left. There is no sign To or that the cemetery is there and just happened to look left and saw it. I plan on going back and taking a pic of the cemetery. Glad I can help! Carmen | | | Karen Darwin Robert
 | RE: John Gaugier Find A Grave # 74935160 is listed as Infant Gaugier on Cemetery burial records, in space 3. The obit has name of John died Sep 1900 in Mt pleasant buriad 29 Sep 1900. Space 4 is Joseph Grugier Find A Grave # 74935161, the obit gives age 36, died Nov 1889 in Mt Pleasant, Both spaces are owned by Mary Gaugier. MI death records Has Joseph Gaugier, birth abt 1854 in NY, death 9 Nov 1889 in Union Twp., Isabella Co., MI. Father: John B Gaugier & Mother Josephine Gaugier, & married, but no name given. A Private Family Tree lists his wife as Mary A Waltenbury. I would assume that this John is son of Joseph & Mary & grand son of John B & Josephine Gaugier. This is the best we can find, Karen & Larry | | | Karen Darwin Robert

 | RE: Gustave Arndt I'm glad you are happy about the picture!
Is this Gustave Arndt related to the Gotlep & Hattie Zellmer Arndt of the Courtland Township? They did not have any children, but he came to America with his parents in 1856.
There is also a John & Ellen Arndt about the same time Gotlep came to the Courtland Township but moved on to Lyon County by 1888. I know nothing more about them.
The reason I ask is because I wrote the early history of the Courtland Township from 1855 - 1900 in which I did the genealogy of all the families that ever lived there during that time period.
Gotlep Arndt held offices, and was the census taker for years. He also lost part of one arm in a farming accident as a child.
So I was just wondering if there was a connection because Nicollet Township is only a few miles from Courtland.
