Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a crazy mad genealogy enthusiast! I trace my family origins back to the Mayflower on one side and to several of the founders of New Haven Colony on the other. I'm keen to make connections and find new cousins, so please get in touch if you think we may have common ancestors.

FAG Memorial #: 11500662
You put the tombstone picture on side-ways.
Could you fix it?

Photo of headstone
Hi Sheila,

You took a photo of Nathaniel Sperry's headstone and it is sideways on his memorial #11570871. I was wondering you could turn it right side up? I sure would appreciate it. Thank you so much for taking the photo. It helps out tremendously!

Samuel Johnson Grave
Dear SheilaMc7,
Thank you so much for taking a current photo of the grave of my ancestor. It is really important to me to verify the dates of his birth and death and his participation in the Revolution.

Thank you again, I really appreciate this,

RE: Eber and Samuel Downs
Hi Sheila,

We are linked through Eber and Abigail's sons.
Your line comes off of Isaac and mine is from his brother Calvin.

I love Genealogy but only have time for it in the Fall and winter. It is always nice to meet cousins and those who want to know their roots. I think more folks are becoming interested in their heritage these days with computers and DNA testing. I just had mine done through, 23 and Me. It pulls up possible relatives. Of course it is up to you to figure out what families the links are from.

Hope to hear from you again.
Cousin Marilyn

Samuel Johnson
Hi Sheila, Samuel Johnson was the son of Samuel Johnson and Esther Russell we believe. Not 100% sure yet, but the line traces back to Joseph Johnson, Humphrey Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson and Isaac Johnson. Your help is very much appreciated as I keep hitting bricks! Kind regards Sharon Johnson

Google Books
Hi Sheila and just so you know, we here in Australia can often not see a lot of google books content that you in America can. We have proved that and I have written to Google about it. Seems we have blackouts for some reason on certain books - maybe royalties??? Not sure.

Sam Johnson and Lucy Adkins
Hi Sheila the dates fit but I am not sure about the parents of Samuel. tbheir son Jeremiah Wadsworth is we think a cousin of our gggrandfather Jeremiah Johnson and it is his mummy and daddy we need to find, so we imagine a sibling of the Samuel senior??

Johnsons of Connecticut
Hi Sheila
Yes, we are definitely connected to the Johnsons of Connecticut. I am related somehow (and this is what we are trying to find out) between my gggrandfather Jeremiah Johnson of New York and Jeremiah Wadsworth Johnson of Connecticut buried in New York. Jeremiah Wadsworth was one of the children of Samuel Johnson and Lucy Adkins of New Haven Connecticut. I need to find the connection as both Jeremiahs had the same executors - all Johnson family members of New York - that is how we found the connection. Any help would REALLY be appreciated. Thank you so much.A lookup would be great to see what we can find. We are trying to find our Jeremiah's parents and we believe they were from Virginia or Connecticut but when he was born in Virginia, his parents domicile was New York. Confused? I know I am :-)
