|I was born at Berwyn (now Gene Autry) Carter County, Oklahoma but moved to Texas when I married a Texan.|
I became interested in genealogy in 1975 and as a result became a cemetery buff.
TRANSFER OF MEMORIALS - I feel that a memorial is best served when maintained by a family member. There is much more to a persons life than just a list of dates and links. The memorials that I have created include direct ancestors, very close kin, distant kin and no known relationship. I will gladly transfer a memorial to persons who have a kinship to a particular person. Be sure to make your request from the edit page and include your name, relationship and your member number in your request. Under no circumstances will I transfer a direct ancestor.
Please feel free to use the photos that I have posted as a part of your family tree. However, when using any of my photos, I request that you state that these photos are from the files of Sandra Haney Tedford. I know that I always want to know the source of a photo and I feel that most other serious genealogists feel the same way.
A few of my major family lines are Anderson, Attaway, Banks, Bickham, Bradley, Brock, Copeland, Gillis, Greeson, Haney, Herod, Holbrook, Shelton, Sinclair and Qualls.
My favorite genealogy quote is by Edmund Burke - "People will not look forward to posterity who never look backward to their ancestors".

Thank you for added my great great grandmother. Sarah was born about 1830 according to the 1850 census under her father Sylvanus Gifford and mother Jane Hobbs Gifford. Can you please add this info to her memorial.
I added photos to Hazel and Elza's graves. I also created a memorial for Don Warrick with his headstone picture added also. I linked him to his parents but noticed that Hazel and Elza's graves are not linked to each other.

I just wanted to thank you for adding Armintha's information to her memorial and also thank you for the transfer! I didn't expect that but I appreciate it and will take very good care of her memorial! I wish you all the best and hope you have a great day!

|Barb Lancaster||RE: Thank you|
Thanks so much. It was my pleasure. I love wandering around through cemeteries. I've gotten to know the grounds crew and office staff. Nice people. They understand what I do there and they are always helpful.
