FINDAGRAVE is such a wonderful site and to think it's available to us for free! Kudos to the members who spend countless hours creating memorials and photographing headstones. I hope to be able to do more of that in the future.
I believe we should take advantage of all of the resources FAG has generously provided us, like bio's and family memorial links. I hope to be able to document all the information I can ascertain while there is still time and family members are still living. I just lost my own precious Mother in November 2012 and am all too aware of time ticking away. History is being lost in the seconds it takes to read this.
If I am maintaining a memorial of a family member that you are more closely related to or that you have more first hand knowledge of, please let me know.

Click on the Family Search tab at the top of the Rootsweb home page, in the box marked "Go To The Database" type in gonefishin just like I have it here, it will take you to my database "Kathy's Kin".

I have only been trying to help you understand how Find A Grave works. When we use a website, we are agreeing to abide by their policies, even when we do not agree with them. Here on Find A Grave, if we do not, we can find our accounts disabled (all anyone will see is "Record Not Available"). Apparently, you see that help as "sternly reprimanding" and that is disheartening.
