I have a great interest in researching my family history and realize the value of the cemeteries when searching for ancestors. |
My family names and locations are Cook-Johnsey-Davidson-Roy-Henson-Lee from the southeastern United States and Johnson-Hall-Herndon-Blackstock and associated families from Georgia.
In general, the memorials I manage are my ancestors, some are aunts or uncles. My primary goal here is to provide correct information for beginning genealogists. If you are a relative, please send me a message so we can connect!

Memorials this old are generally non transferable as there would be literally 1000's of direct descendants as well as linked family, myself included.
To learn more about the transfer process:
please read Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer.
I will add information as well as links to true burials and always do so promptly.
Looking forward to working with you, eliz

I belive that DC is a male since a female is next to him, but I have no proof of that.
I have viewed the photos on two computers and they look fine, don't know why you can't see them.

Thanks for the correction. I had left a 1 off of the end of the memorial number, which resulted in the wrong person. I have fixed it.
Thanks again, Kim

I don't show these listed as entered by me. Please recheck who entered them. I may have just added a photo to them.

Its been a few years since I walked this cemetery, but I took pictures of all I found. Sorry to be of so little help but it is a large cemetery that sort of wanders around.

I tried your e-mail but it came back. So I'll just keep it simple. Needham sr. was reported dead by his family in 1820 but that was not true. He went to Cherokee co. to escape jail time, and Susan and some of the kids went later. Thats where their dau. Susan met my Wesley H. Hollingsworth and married. Al. cen.1830-1850. Then when Wesley died c.1856 Susan came back to Shelby co. see 1860 cen.

I have no idea if we are related. My maternal grandfather's side of the family are Roy's. I happen to find this little grave site in Pelham/Helena, AL. Because I did not know if they are the same, I took pictures and did research. I will try to add the link for Mary "Polly" Lee Roy to Malden's link.
