Pat, that you so much for your photo of Zach Carter. It's a good one.

I belong to Ancestry.com and have also done dna
testing, I have lots of information on there, take a look. Holly
|Anonymous||Samuel Dickenson Forrest|
His death certificate only shows first wife Cynthia Belcher who died in 1886, only one census the 1920 one shows a wife named Catherine, have not found the 1900 census yet.
So I have lots of questions,
Holly Forrest Tamer
Is the small photo of Samuel Dickinson Forrest, who was my Great Grand father? How did you get it? Are we related? Holly Forrest Tamer

Thanks for adding the gravestone. I hope we can get a picture of him (perhaps in uniform?) or a private photo of him and/or Elizabeth "Betsy" Carter. We also have her gravestone in our Tree. Have requested from Eric Stone, info or photos he may have of Rev Zack Carter, since he wrote such a great Bio. I presume Mr Stone is a descendant of one of the daughters who married a "Stone" (on my Family Tree) and is buried in the Rice Family Cemetery.
Awaiting word. My gratitude and thanks to Eric Stone for his contributions to Rev Zack Carter's Find A Grave memorial site. A model of how it should be done! We are from the same family of Carters. Would like to know if he knows where John Carter and Martha Tucker Carter are buried?
Zack Carter (1824-1888) was the brother of Alexander Carter (b.1822), from which our line descended.
