Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the great grandson of Henry Bernhard Frederich BRANDT (headstone name is: Henry Brandt).

I may be the only male descendent carrying on (Henry's) our Brandt line which came over from Germany (Grebemen By Guxhagen, Hessen Kassel area) in 1882.

I have five wonderful son's (all are married and producing grandchildren).

I have seven grandsons and four granddaughters and one more grandchild on the way (busy little bees ... lol).

Henry's Line is:

First Spouse
Anna Gertrude Kilian 1867 1920

Lizzie (Wehrenberg) Brandt 1887
Frederic W Brandt 1889 1937
Ida S (Schmidt) Brandt 1890 1971
Anna K (Schmidt) Brandt 1892 1956
Emma (Baulch) Brandt 1894 1951
Henry George Brandt 1896 1974
William Charles Brandt Sr 1899 1971 (*)
Gertrude L (Belz) Brandt 1905 1973

(*) = My Line

Henry's Second Spouse
Mollie Fisher Brandt Feb. 14, 1877 - Oct. 28, 1937

Mollie's Second Husband: Henry BF Brandt (no children with this marriage) Married sometime in the 1920's - marriage ended via death of Mollie). They were separated last several years of the marriage.

Mollie's First Husband: James Emery Fisher (02 May 1860 in Franklin, Allamakee, Iowa, USA - 17 May 1917 in Johnson, Dewey, Oklahoma, USA).

At this time it is believed that the male line has stopped with Henry George and Frederic W Brandt.

Feel free to contact me regarding any member of the Brandt family (my cell number is 661-332-8722). If you think I might be of some assistance please feel free to contact me via email or voice.

Henry Brandt
Hello Steve,

I am new to the Find A Grave site, but want to thank you for the contributions you have made regarding our great-grandfather, Henry Brandt. My grandfather is Henry George Brandt (brother of your grandfather William Charles Brandt), and my father is Orian Glenn Brandt (went by Glenn). My dad passed away on 9/21/2012, and is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lakeland, along with his parents (Henry and Julia) and his sisters Mildred, Margaret, and Ollie. He also has a sister Lorena who lived in New Jersey for many years before she passed away, and another sister Alice who passed away as a very young infant.

I enjoyed reading the transcript of the letter written by our great-grandfather (that you provided on this site), and I am hoping to learn more about my heritage.

Take care,

RE: Walter Schmidt
No I'm not, just familiar with the area and gathering obits.

I just requested a son's link be added to Paul Schmidt--think his name was Jesse? Paul is your relation, isn't it?

Wendle Davis
Thank you so much for the photo for Wendle. He was one of 58 men from F Troop 2nd Squadron of the 11th Cavalry that was killed in Vietnam. Soon I will have them all back together again where they belong and then my work will be done.
