Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started asking family question when I was about sixteen and have not stopped since. I love putting the pieces together and seeing where the information takes me. I have come in contact with some great people along my journey. Learned about and stay in contact with some cousins.

My search started with (but not limited to) Shaw; Moon; Burge; Cornwell; Blackwell; McDonald; McDaniel; Leach; Yates; Gregory; Wells; Barker; Ball; Hall; and many more.

My dad was Howard Wrenwick Allen Sr. I noticed you added him. I would like to update his information as well as make corrections and additions. I'm somewhat new to this so please forgive me. Thank you.

Allen/Leach family
Hi Charity,

My great grandparents were Joseph Thomas Allen and Mary J. Leach. I have some very old photos and some information I would like to share with you. Maybe we can fit more pieces together together. I hope this finds you well.

RE: Nancy McDaniel Massie 1792-1848
Hello Cousin. Yes, Nancy McDaniel Massie is my 3-great grandmother. She married Thomas Massie and they had a daughter Rachel and She married my 2-great grandfather Ozias P. Barton. I understand that Nancy's father James W McDaniel has a gravestone but no one has posted one on Find A Grave. He was in the revolutionary war.

RE: Peter Blaker 1721-????
At this time I do not know where he is buried. I am still searching, and the reason I post "unknown" burials is I hope to find out some day, and also hope another Find A Grave member may know and share.

David Wells Family - Find A Grave Memorial# 36400666
Hi Charity,

I am researching my Grandfather's family history and I see Carolyn Davis has noted on this memorial she found this information from old family letters and Bible records. Do you have access to these records and would you be willing to share? Thanks, Kathy

RE: Abraham McDonald
I can't find this Abraham anywhere but I have an ancestor that it says on their children's marriage certificates that Abraham McDonald was there father. Also had it spelled McDaniel once. Wonder which was correct. Thanks for all your help.

Abraham McDonald
Hi, Was wondering; is the Abraham that's buried at Grafton National Cemetery the same one that had children with Margaret Reel? He would have been at least a 100 when he died. Any info appreciated.
