I started doing genealogy when I inherited a sword from the Civil War along with an undated obit with information about the original owner. He requested that the sword only go to female members of the family. This was over 20 years ago (and before the computer age when we used Soundex and Microfilms). I have been hooked ever since.

If you think you can get a better picture of the headstone I would appreciate it. Thank you again.

RE: Helen Terry Photo Request
The cemetery said it needs to be next of kin. The phone number there is 818/361-7387.

Thank you for having the grave site location. I was able to stop on my way home from work.

I have transfered the memorials for Earl Wellington and Thelma Register. If there are other transfers you would like, please use the Suggest a correction tab. That way I will get an email for the exact memorial you would like to have transfered to you.

Clyde "Buddy" Register.
Hi. I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that it seems that they put the little guy's nickname on the marker, "Buddy". I am sure this is him because of the dates and the exact location of the marker.
Best Regards,
Bonnie

I have a suggestion...
...why don't you use a photo of that sword for your bio photo? I bet others (like me) would love to see it!

Ah yes, I too remember the days when almost everything had to be done using microfilm. Hours and hours and rolls and rolls of film! (I will not say, "those were the days" ha ha!)

I have claimed one of your photo requests here in Inglewood, and will be doing it this weekend if it doesn't rain too much.

Best Regards,
Bonnie
