Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Cades, SC which was named for my mother's family. As a young lad, I would spend nights with my Grandfather who would describe how life was during the 1890's in the deep south. He also related many stories about great-grandfather's civil war experiences. The internet was a door opening into the history of the south. Much of my time is spent during research and sadly, due to age and distance, little in the field. I am always eager to hear from others doing cemetery research in Williamsburg County, SC.

Hi Shelly, let me know when you post any new information on any of my managed memorials, ok? This one didn't have a date, but your post showed a death date.... I just came across this when I ran across the obit for the deceased, and I saw your posted .jpg.
Thanks, Susan

Mr. Shelly,
Thank you so much for this transfer. I have already contacted family members and discovered that her parents are also buried there. They are eager to provide information to complete the memorials.

Would you contact me about mcclary cemetery
We are visiting forgotten cemeteries in Kingstree and are trying to locate this one. If there are stone? If there are NO stones? If there are no stones then there would not be anything to visit... would appreciate hearing back from you.

RE: Red Hill Cemetery
I just put the location of Red Hill at Burnett Swamp on the Site. If you are asking about the Red Hill in Georgetown County, I am not in control of that site and the GPS is incorrect. That one should be the corner of hwy. 51 and Listen Drive. Just curious, do you have ancestors in either of these?
