I live in Butler County, KS and love genealogy. I have found several headstones of my ancestors on Find A Grave and want to help others in their search. Some of the surnames I am searching for are Mantooth, McCulley, Koger, Runyan, Luck, Clarkson.
I would be happy to transfer any memorials that are not my direct line. | |

 | From Sally, you are so terrific Hi again Patti, and I really must say you are terrific. However, by no means do I want to put you out, But if you were serious about getting a pic of all of my Ruark relatives, that are all laying together in a given area, so I can see as many of there headstones in one pic that you can get. I would truly love that. . You know it has not been since fairly recently I have taken an interest in the people of my heritage, now that I have found a handful of them, I want to find more, and to locate as many of them that I can, both living and dead. And I am sure i will need your assistance again. I realize, you may not be able to physically get to the majority of them, but hopefully, if you are not able to help me, you can put me in touch with others that can. I will be in touch with you again soon, and again thank you very much.

 | From Sally D Ruark Dear Patti, thank you so much for the pic. and if you will answer a couple more questions for me. First I am unable to read what this stone says, do you thing you can make out any of the dates and wording on it, and e-mail me what you think, you might be reading. And Secondly, is this grave located, or anywhere near, any of the others, that I think are James Rufus Ruark's parents and other siblings I am sure Temple and Eliza Ruark were his parents, and Maude and William Cortez Ruark were his siblings. I think there was another one also, but I have been able to verify that yet. But, my never having been to this cemetery, I was wondering, are they all kind of grouped together, or if they are all separate and spread out all over the cemetery. Any information you can get to me, or other pics of any of the Ruarks there or anywhere throughout Kansas, would be of a great help. I do know that ,I have past relatives, dating back to the early 1800's if not further back, Many, many of them, are buried all over the state of Kansas. Right now, I am having trouble, following the roots of where they actually came from. Finding the routes they traveled, as many of them came to settle in Kansas, from the very late 1700's and thoughout most all of the 1800's where some had lived and all the places they were buried at after they died....Again any kind of info, pics and help, I would most certainly appreciate. Again, Thank you so very much, and be well Sally D Ruark
