RE: I'am So Happy
Barry Reese Robertson's headstone. Hi Tyfinia. Glad to hear from you.
From your e-mail, it seems as if there is a tombstone already there for Barry? If so, if you're happy with the style and the way it was lettered, you might want to contact the company that did his stone.
I would start out first with the cemetery. They may have some suggestions as to the best place or places that do monuments. I would suggest contacting these places and asking for cemeteries in which they placed headstones. You want to see their work before having them do it.
My parents have gray granite and it's a good color. Also black is a very popular color for tombstones. They are beautiful. One of my nephews has one and I've seen them other places.
If you decide to go with that, I would suggest NOT getting a shiny one. They reflect everything everything, so if you decide to take a photo of the stone for FindAGrave, you'll get a photo of the stone, but you'll get the reflection of the person taking the photo. There are less shiny black stones and in my opinion, they're better.
Of course if you get a flat stone, color may not matter so much.
One of my other nephews passed away on August 12th of this year. He was only 58. He died from complications of early onset Alzheimer's. I miss him so much. I created a memorial for him already, but will probably add to it.
Take care and mail me back if I can help you again. It's always good to hear from you.

Barry's memorial
Hi Tyfinia: Glad to hear from you. I hope things are going well for you.
I did some research through Frequently Asked Questions and I may have the answer for you.
Here is what I found: Free memorial photo maximum reached. Find A Grave currently allows a maximum of 5 photos on a standard memorial page. If you would like to add more photos(up to 20), please consider sponsoring this memorial. Sponsoring a memorial does 3 things.
. Removes all advertising from the memorial
. Increases the maximum number of photos from 5-20
. Places a small heart next to the name in the search results pages.
Sponsoring a memorial costs just $5.00. Proceed to the secure sponsorship page to complete the sponsorship process.
Tyfinia, I have sponsored members of my family. $5.00 isn't much. I'm surprised it hasn't gone up. I've belonged to this a long time.
Another option for you to keep the photos at 5 is to remove one of the photos already on it.
Let me know how it comes out. I'd love to see it.
Good luck.

RE: thanks you
Tyfinia: I've transferred your cousin Barry's biography to you. Now no one but you can add or delete anything you put on it. There may be things you might want to add.
When a loved one dies, especially one so young, it's really hard, isn't it?
God Bless You in this New Year.

Barry Robertson's memorial
Hi: I found through your photos that Barry was your cousin. He was very young when he passed away and I'm sorry for that.
If you would like me to, I can transfer his memorial to you and that way you can add his birth date and add other information to his biography.
Barry came from a large family and large families are always great. I come from one too.
I'll wait to hear from you about the transfer.

Tyfinia: I thank you for your note of appreciation.
If I entered someone from your family or one of your friends, I'm glad that you're happy with it.
God Bless You too.
