There is a great story in the Journal World, 100 years ago section,(todays date7-1-1915) on the drowning death of this 13 year old boy, in the Kansas River. Thought you might want to add it to the Find A Grave posting. Sincerely, Dave

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your grave marker photos on my family website. Check it out at This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

Thank you.

Thank you for the heads up on the duplicate. I try to check but this one slipped by somehow! I have deleted mine and sent corrections to the original.

RE: william coble
My time ran out on me so I didn't get a similar marker photo'd for the C/G ? I will be going back and put it on my list... maybe on the top!

RE: william coble
I had told the sexton, Connie Brock that the C almost looks like a G. Really not sure. I' m going there today so I will look for similar stones, maybe carved by the same person. Of the photos I've taken, it looks as if the G's have a horizontal line atop the C, not necessarily just a vertical line beside the bottom front of the C. I will try to find a good example today... It may just be carving styles. There are many Gosses in Gosport so I should be able to find a good example of a G.
