William Amos Lacy/Lacey
Hi Amber! You added this memorial a few years ago. Can you tell me the source of info for his burial? While I have found a news clipping about his death, I've not found a record for his burial. His wife is buried and has a marker at White City Ks. Thank you!

Milton Amos Lacey Info
I am interested in knowing the source for this persons info. There are no tombstones in the cemetery for any Lacey. I am searching for info on my great-great grandfather that family history records his name as Amos William Lacy with the same birth and death dates as Milton Amos.
Lacey. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Thomas E. Russell
Thank you for the new tombstone picture. It is a lot better than the one I had. Thanks for working with me on the family.

RE: Russell
Wilton and his wife meet in the school of the deaf in Austin, Texas (I think this is correct but not sure of the place, it was the main school for the deaf and mom use to tell me it was where her uncle went to school when we went though Austin) They married and I think she must have also been deaf. Wife was Betty E. Doyle and children were Emma, Nettie, and Clifton M. The girls died before his death. He lived in Las Animas in 1920 and they were not with him so they divorced before 1920. Clifton M. Russell the son was born April 19, 1903 in Texas (I am guessing the two girls were born about that time too.) He died May 17, 1977 in Plumas Co, California but lived in Gerber, Tehama, CA) . He married Florence I Firestone born in 1901 about 1925 and they had Frances Pauline in 1928 and Nettie Mae in 1930.
Wilton was living with his brother Thomas in the 1900 Hunt Co, TX census. He was 26 years of age. He must have gone to the school shortly after that. His brother Thomas married in Sept of 1900 and I think Thomas sent the sibling living with him back to his dad or they got married. My grandpa was 15 and he left and went to work in West Texas. Thomas was living in Haskell County, Texas by the 1910 census and had Minnie, Bertie, and Victor already.
I probably have you confused. Let me know if this is too confusing and I will try to make it clearer.

RE: Russell
Thank you. I try to keep the records correct. I wish I could find more on John Wilton. I know he was in the deaf school in Austin when he met his wife. They married and had kid/kids. They divorced but I never have found anything else on the wife or Kid/kids.
Look forward to hearing from yuou.

RE: Russell
Thank you that will be great. I try hard to keep the records correct and updated. I just wish I could find the wife and children of John Wilton Russell. I know she was deaf like him and they met at the deaf school in Austin and married. I do not think their child was deaf but I have no records of them.

RE: Russell
I did not get your message. My email address is
I would love a better tombstone picture of Thomas "Tom" Russell's grave. The one I had is a very poor copy. I would love to add a good one to Find a Grave and my Russell-Lamm tree. If you have a copy of the photo please add it to his site on Find a Grave. By the way he was buried in Trinidad in the Kim Cemetery which is located in Las Animas Co, Colorado not in Trinidad Co.
I would also love a picture of John Wilton's gravestone to add to the records. Please add his gravestone to Find a Grave.
Have you ever been able to look at my tree? Please feel free to ask me for an invite. After all it is your family also.
Thanks for the help.
