|Bio and Links|
I listened intently to mother's stories about how and where she grew up and heard one or two from her sister. Getting father to talk about his family was worse than pulling teeth....|
I've always been interested in family history. However, in younger years, as a working wife and mother there was no time for organized research. Still, in an old suitcase that once belonged to my father, I carried around the old family photos, scraps of paper written by various hands, newspaper clippings and a few keepsakes for many years. In 1995 technology and a little spare time allowed me a start.
Now, after raising my family and retiring from a full career in industrial engineering and cost estimating for commercial and aerospace manufacturing, I can dedicate more free time to research. Naturally, I am older and all of "time here" will too soon pass me by. So, it's time to share. Find A Grave is one of the places that I've chosen to share my work in hope that it will be helpful to interested lateral branches of the family and future generations. This will be an ongoing project....
