Carl and Emil's mother Bengta Björnsdotter was the sister of Jon Bjornson and Sven Bjornson (who also traveled to ND) and my grandfather's mother Pernilla (who stayed in Sweden.) Have contact with Paul Rolfe from the U.S.. Hope I also get in touch with you.

Ross
Hi! I got the 5 Ross' in Section K. For Lina & John in Section G, the Office at Mt Olive said Lot #'s were wrong. They would not help me for proper, being non family. Based on years they passed, may not have marker, if can see who may be closest marker when try for Lot #, willing to try again. FYI: Carrie is listed as Carrie Joihnson Ross & Carrie Johnson Ross & John Ross is also listed twice. Thanks Barb

John L Johnson
Hi Lars -
I can't help much right now (I'll do some more looking as I can). I'm not a member of Ancestry.com but I was able to look at some records there. I found there may have been 2 John Johnsons born in Norway around 1851 who migrated to the U.S. One ended up in Otter Tail, Minnesota and the other in Kingman, Kansas. The spouse of the one in Kansas was Mary W Johnson. I didn't find her maiden name. John Johnson is such a common name it will be very difficult to find any data of which you can even be somewhat confident. Maybe if you contact the Kingman County, Kansas library to see if they have the 1931 issues of the Kingman newspaper. Back then they usually did much better obituaries than done now in the U.S.
You might be able to get a message to the Kingman County Historical Society at the following website:

http://kingmancoks.com/id5.html

I wish you good luck in your search. If I can find anything else I'll contact you thru findagrave.com

P.S. My best friend and his wife from my U.S. Army days, Allen Kvidt, has Norwegian ancestry. He lives in Campbell, Minnesota. Wonderful folks.

RE: Lewis H. Rutlind - died 1937, but where?
Hi Lars, Okay i went on Ancestors. Maybe the last name has changed thru the years. I have that problem on my familys. Change the first letter or drop a letter out. Anyways, I found a Jacob Rutlind on Ancestry. Owners site: douglasronda family site for Smith. I left him a message about you needing help. I gave him your email address:(hope that was okay?) If he would have any information to help you out. I will help you keep looking. I hope he or she will help you out. Good Luck. Cindy
