Gregg family
Hi Bill,

Did you receive the more detailed message about Harriet Chisolm Horn and the Gregg family?

I'd like to fill in your wife's lineage through to which connects her to the Horn-Jacobs Society. The HJS was started by of descendants of Harriet's brother, Rev. William Melchior Horn.

One of the 1800's photos in our collection has been posted to Harriet's memorial

I erred in my previous message
I erred by attaching all of Samuel James Myers' children to his second wife, Mary Elvira Dixon. Most of the seven children were born to his first wife Mary Avant.

Memorials Transfer Request
Bill, I would appreciate your transferring memorials 83256283 (Samuel James Myers), 83256205 (Mary Elvira Dixon Myers), and 83256319 (William J. Myers) to Howard (Kip) Carter, Find A Grave# #48482030. I just was able to verify Samuel James Myers as my maternal 2nd great grandfather. I have so much to add to each of these. Samuel James was married first to Mary Avant and through that relation gave birth to William Armstrong Myers. Samuel James later married Mary Elvira Dixon, whom is buried with him at Hopewell. He had seven children with her, including above mentioned William J.

I thank you ahead of time. I have often visited this cemetery, being I grew up in Florence and the Pee Dee area.

I wanted to let you know that your great grandparents are buried in a large and beautiful old cemetery. They are in a very prime location.

The requests for transfer were for people in my tree. I transferred Esther however. I'll be happy to add or update the others with any info you'd like to add.
