|I've hit a number of road blocks in my own family research, but I still have that genealogy itch to scratch, so I've taken to documenting graves. Currently working my way through Woodlawn Cemetery, Rochester, VT. I never realized how time consuming researching just a few people would be, but it's fun! :)|
Happy to transfer memorials to anyone expressing serious interest. I like to see the family links in place as I know how helpful those can be when you're trying to find someone.

|Judy Schaaf||Calvin Morse # 114299282|
Hi Debra, the birth and death dates for Calvin Morse are inaccurate. Please see the caption I have made to the photo I posted citing information about him in the book "History of Widsr County, Vermont." You can find the information here: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~vttttp/windsor/oldfamiliesrochester.htm
(where I wish I had seen it before I typed all that information in from a pdf file on the book !). His stone, if he had one orginally (which he doubtless did) appears no longer to be standing. Thanks Judy
|doglady||Esther Marie Moses Sargeant|
This may read a little stern but this is not my intention--I greatly appreciated the time taken to do the research you do and to share on this site.
She is listed on the memorial of Pvt. Joseph E. Sargent (Find A Grave Memorial# 136665037) and her own 2 listings; one in North Hollow Cemetery in Granville, Addison Co., VT (#114771907)ómarker as Sargeant & Mount Hope Cemetery in Northfield, Washington Co, VT (#166358895)ómarker as Williams.
Esther is NOT the sibling to those listed on the memorial site of Pvt. Joseph E. Sargent or her own site. She first married a Joseph Sargeant (b. 6-14-1822) on 1-12-1867 in Hancock, Addison Co., VT. He died in 1890 and she subsequently married Joseph Williams also in Hancock in 1892. Her siblings would be Moses NOT Sargeant or Sargent.
Estherís parents were Joseph Moses and Eleanor (Ellen) Pearl. Esther died January 04, 1921 in Northfield, Washington Co., VT.
Thanks for the corrections.
