|Lu Ann||Amelia Ann Stier|
Please let your sister-in-law know that I finally located the grave site of Amelia Ann and Henry Stier, which is just up from Sidney Ann Stier (her ancestor that she showed us last summer when we met at Loudon Park). It is the grave under the tree, which I have cleaned off so that it is now (more or less) legible. It says Mother on the top, although there are 7-8 people buried there, including Sidney's sisters and their spouses. Hope you are doing well--please pass on my warm regards.

I found the obit for this soldier and thought you might like to add it to his memorial if you want.

|Lu Ann||Thank You|
Thank you for your quick response and for giving my information to your sister-in-law. I look forward to hearing from her. Sarah Dorsey Burgess Stier is my third great-grand aunt. Her brother, William H.J. Stier, is my direct ancestor. He was married to Amelia Ann Hilton, who is one of the most elusive members of my family tree. Again, thank you for your help.

|Lu Ann||Stiers in Loudon Park.|
I am searching for Stiers in Loudon Park, and you have listed Sarah Burgess-Dorsey Stier Wilson (who was the daughter of the people I am searching for--of course, I would love to visit her grave as well). Do you know the location of her grave? Are you researching Stier family connections? I am trying to locate my 3rd great grandfather, William Henry Jackson Stier, who was married to Amelia Ann Stier (she is listed on find-a-grave, while he is not). I know he survived her, dying in 1904/05, but am unable to find his gravesite...and plan to go searching for hers at some point soon.
Any information you have to share would be much appreciated. Good luck in your research.
