John David Slagle Sr. 146499677
I see on your memorial for John Slagle, SR (146499677) you have no cemetery record but think he was buried in Polk County? I am almost certain that this John David Slagle is one and the same. #97793543. Everything matches up except the death year which is 10 years apart. What do you think?

Memorial# 36182077 Henry J York
This memorial was created by someone who simply copied a listing I posted on years ago. Henry J York was a typo. It was supposed to read Henry M York, for whom I did not have dates, but for whom I had evidence of burial in Missouri Flat Cemetery. I only discovered this recently - by finding Henry J's memorial on Find A Grave. As far as I know, no Henry J York is in Missouri Flat, or even existed as a non-typo sort of person. If you have any evidence there was a Henry J, by all means keep the memorial, but if you lack any independent evidence, I would delete it.

RE: Memorial # 115928076
Removed the spousal link between them. If you can give me the memorial # for one of their parents I will show them as sisters.

Jacob Slagle
Hello! I have a quick question about Jacob Slagle. His marriage record names him as Jacob Slagle Jr, (which usually, but not necessarily, implies his father's name is Jacob) and most people say his father was Jacob Slagle and his mother Frances Dunlap. But Find A Grave says his father is William (who I thought was his uncle) with Sallie Sears as his mother. I just wondered how you connected him to William and not Jacob. Thanks so much for any clarification you can send!

Barbara Lavina Barham Slagle
Forgot to add that she was born in Calloway co KY, not in NC. Her death certificate does list KY as her birthplace. In Sept. 1823 her parents {James F. & Margaret Barham} requested letters of dismission from the Center Baptist Church, Russellville, Logan co. KY. At the same time James' half brother, John Dunn & his wife Jenny also requested letters of dismission. This info from Center Baptist Church records. Have book with minutes of this church. They all moved to Calloway co KY. Would you be interested in exchanging info? Have lots on the Barhams.
