|Ann Kennedy Patton||Kennedy's|
Have you ever heard the name Hilton, Hammond or Atwood associated w/ the Kennedy name? If so, can you shed any light on the connection? Supposedly they married Kennedy men prior to migrating from SC to GA and AL. Thanks for any info!
|Richard Hodges||Lt. Samuel W. Pullig (Cool Branch Cemetery)|
I was unable to locate the Lt. Samuel W. Pullig, CSA burial site at the Cool Branch Baptist Church cemetery in Fairfield County, SC. I'll continue to search for it.

|Alice ||RE: Batchelder|
No sign of Elroy Batchelder in Hudson View Cemetery, but he was in Rensselaer County in 1900, 1905, 1910, 1915 census. Also, Elroy's son, Charles P. Batchelder is listed in Sand Lake Union, Rensselaer County. So, Elroy may have ended up in Rensselaer County as well... I don't know. Alice

|Military Mother||RE: Hallie Strange|
We are not related; however, I was a member of the church as a child and I remember her. Have returned to my home in Sumter and have re-joined what is now called New Salem Baptist Church. So many from my childhood are still there. It is a blessing to see those early photos. This website is all about remembering. Thank you for this opportunity to remember Ms. Hallie, a very special lady!!

I love the memorial page you created for Hallie Strange. Was she ever a member of Salem Avenue Baptist Church in Sumter? Barbara Coker
|Julie Moses||Daniel and Lillian Engwer|
Just a FYI...
Both buried at Oakwood cemetery. Confirmed by Obit's..but I remember going to both.
|Julie Moses||RE: Sagendorf|
I'm your Aunt Marie's (Sis) daughter Julie (middle). I've been working on both sides of the tree for a while. I had wished I'd started when Grandpa S was around because it may have made my life a bit easier :) I got frustrated with Grandpa's side because he was abandoned when he was young.
I DO have some information on Grandpa Sagendorph's parents...in fact I just discovered it recently. G/G Myers I got WAY far on....she is a decedent of King Edward III!
Grandpa's side was tricky but I managed to find out at least who his Dad and Mom where and his Uncles and Aunts. I live in the area still and we have a fantastic genealogy room at the Troy Public Library so when I can find time I'm going to try to get some more "paper trails".
As far as Grandma Sagendorph... I have info on that side too.
I also will be going to the cemetery soon. I will update the family plot. We are hoping to get an actual stone for my mom and not just a footstone.
Send me an email through my gmail account so we can exchange information :) I do have a tree on Ancestry but not all my documents are on there. I have Grandma and Grandpa Engwer's obituaries. Grandma Myer's obituary. Information about when Grandpa was abandoned (in newspaper clipping). I haven't had time to scan and add yet but would have no problem sharing :)
