The following was borrowed from contributor Juanda Owens B's profile page with which I strongly agree:|
"I think it is a real shame what findagrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them".

I cannot find my folder on Ephesus cemetery. As soon as I locate it, I will send you what I have.

As with my previous message in re Mary Clifton Gooding, I have submitted an edit to remove J. Frank Gooding #86500608 as her father. She was the daughter of another John Frank Gooding who is not on Find A Grave. Thanks!!
I'm so happy that you put all this time into Find A Grave. I started doing 'my' tree for a friend. Every time I 'wonder what happened too..." I find your entry. You've helped me so many times. I know what you're saying. Its sad.

I submitted an edit to remove "Jacob" Frank Gooding as her spouse. She was married to Frank F. Gooding, also from Hampton County but a couple of years younger than the one listed. This J. Frank Gooding was serving as a Deputy US Marshal when he was killed in an auto accident in 1935.

Thanks dawgfan and thanks for creating a site on Find A Grave for her :)

The obituary, posted to the Lerado listing shows that she died in Jaroso, and there is a Jaroso Cemetery! :) :) Just go into the Lerado Cemetery and change it to the Jaroso Cemetery and that should fix it :)
Let me know if that doesn't work. Good luck.
