RE: Flowers for Mary Brown, Swift Cemetery
Thank you very much for the information Shirley. It really does sound like my Mary Brown and your Mary Brown are two different people. I will keep searching and see if I ever discover anything more about her. I do appreciate your help!

You are most welcome for the flower on your great grandmother's memorial! I love browsing the memorials here, not only of my own relatives, but of others and leaving little tokens.

Have a great day!

RE: Flowers for Mary Brown, Swift Cemetery
I honestly am not sure if the Mary Brown buried at Swift is my relative. My 4th great grandmother was Mary Osteen Brown b. 1815 South Carolina died sometime after the 1900 census in Nacogdoches County. Her husband was Phillip James Brown. He died abt. 1880 probably in South Carolina.

One of Mary's daughters was Mary Ann Brown Kirkley, buried at Cushing Cemetery.

Do any of these names sound familiar to you? You may be able to help me figure out if I have found my relative, or if I need to continue searching for the right Mary Brown.

Thank you so much!!
