I do not believe that the memorial that I posted is the same person as this one. As I state on my memorial the stone was broken and parts were missing. The photo of the stone for this lady does not appear to have any missing parts. In addition, we have different dates of birth.

|Cheryl Carlson||Frank Burdick Van Sickler|
The correct spelling is Frank Burdick Van Sickler. I was at Masons Cemetery on Thursday, March 24 (3 days ago), with a cousin, Bruce Lindell, who is Frank Van Sickler's great-nephew. Bruce's grandfather was Frank's brother. We met with Sterling Foster and his wife on Thursday and spent a couple of hours at the cemetery and Smurthwaite House. Bruce gave Mrs. Sterling quite a bit of information on Frank Van Sickler. Andrew Van Sickler is Frank's father and Bruce Lindell's great-grandfather. Bruce's mother's maiden name is VAN SICKLER. It would be nice to connect Frank with his parents and siblings back in Minnesota on findagrave.com. Frank, I believe, was born in New York but was raised in Minnesota where most of his relatives are buried. Frank is in the City Directory of San Francisco for 1900 and 1899 and is listed as Frank B Van Sickler. My guess is someone could not read correctly the "r" in Sickler and thought it was a "n" or "s." There are several sources for Frank Van Sickler in ancestry.com and his last name is always spelled correctly as Van Sickler. Hope this is helpful.

|Suzy & Rob||RE: Gustaf Greenwold 135999156|
Oh my! I didn't know about a second Gustaf/George Greenwold/Greenwald.
I can, however, help you with the wife and child. The wife remarried to Albert R.L. Johnson. He died in 1931 from tuberculosis and is buried at Greenwood. I made a memorial for him a couple of days ago. That's what started my searching. His wife died in 1961. You can find her death certificate under Anna Elenora Johnson. Her death certificate is signed by her son, Milton Greenwald.
Milton died in 1985 so his death certificate isn't available yet but he had a son, Robert Milton Greenwold, who was born in 1930. Robert Milton's birth certificate is on line and it verifies that his father (Anna's son) was born in Phoenix about 1907.
But that brings us back to which Gustaf was her first husband? I have to admit that I found a family tree on ancestry showing her husband as George who died in 1908 so when I found George at Rosedale, I assumed that was him. And, I made the further assumption that the 2 year old child at Rosedale was their son who had been born before Milton. It seemed to make logical sense.
What documentation is there about the Gustaf who drown? Newspaper accounts, perhaps? If I'm going to delete the link between Anna and George as husband and wife, I would like to reference the drowning of her husband with a little more detail.

I am not related to John so if you would like I can transfer management to you.
|sherry lynn winters||Hi Pioneers Cemetery Association!|
Just wanted to let you know that I added another photo of my GGG grandmother, Mary Francisca Lansdon # 136870398 to the memorial that you created! :0) I'd sure love to come down there... like in January (when it's cold & snowy here) ;0) and see where she & my GGG grandfather are buried, but it looks like they are in unmarked graves. I also wish that I could locate her maiden name.. that's been tough! Anyway, Thank you for the great work you do!! I hope you're all having a great summer~ Sherry
Edward Lawry, buried in Rosedale Cemetery, (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=136871661) may be Edward LOWRY. I'm wondering if this could be a typo on Find A Grave or if his headstone does say LAWRY. Can you clarify? Would you have any other information on this person? I believe he is my great grand uncle and was a significant brick wall for me until just a few days ago. Thank you!
