Michele, I just got up and am getting ready for work, but, I saw the photograph that you added to the Find A Grave site that I have set up for Matthew. What a wonderful picture and what a great addition to his site. I live in Peoria and work at St. Francis Medical Center and used to work with some Warnecke's at Komatsu in Peoria. I am looking forward to working with you on Matthew's biography, I have added a little more this morning so check it out. If you are in the Peoria area and even if you are not, please think about giving me a call tonight about 5:30 or 6:00. I'd love to talk with you about the picture and the family. Thanks for what you have already done. Looking forward to working with you on his biography, Sincerely, Baxter B. Fite III

I did a find for MAX in case there were any typing errs on the spreadsheet I got from Oakland and it didn't come up with anything close to your surname. Sorry. If you come up with any others, please send me them and I can sure check for them, or feel free to check them on FindAGrave, I have about 975 left to enter for Oakland. I hope to have the entries done by the end of the month - the pictures, well.....that depends on the weather. Do keep checking though if you think there might be someone in Oakland - as I get the headstone photo online, I do change the spelling according to the stone and find the spellings to differ in some cases.

RE: Wm. Schilling
Sure. I remember doing an Esser request for you in Arlington, especially cuz I goofed the two Peter Esser stones (lesson learned there). I will ask about the headstone. I have another plot to ask the same question about on Thursday too.

Do you know if he had a gravestone? I see the other that you requested and Brian got for you. Have you been in contact with Oakland office?

Many thanks for your time and effort. This is a good start with Kunshier burials.

RE: Capt Peter W Esser
It's very easy to find! Sibley County road 9 is also McLeod County road 1 from highway 212 and a straight shot if you'd like to do a loop around the area with hwy 5 (county 9, is to your right from hwy 5 in Arlington.) The Sibley county historical society is open on Sundays in Henderson about 12 miles away on hwy 19 :) It could be a fun fall color trip; Henderson is on the MN River and County 6 winds back through some fun areas with cool cemeteries where you may have family.

Oh, gosh, golly, gee, darn, whiz. Please feel free to use the pics to upload the correct one! Thanks for pointing that out! (It is pretty plain to see that 17 right under the Esser, wasn't it?)

I am unable to delete the pictures. Since you put them in I would think you would be able to delete them.
