RE: Photo of William Kilpatrick cemetery marker
You are welcome, sorry it took so long. I had been to Carrollton Cemetery several times and could not find William and Mamie. Their markers were completely covered with dirt and grass, they really need to be raised. Steve

RE: James Stephenson
My notes show that he is buried in Lindsay Cemetery, Abbeville, South Carolina, USA.

born: 10 Oct 1744 South Carolina, USA
died: 12 May 1822 Abbeville, South Carolina, USA

Mary Mercy Young
born: 26 Apr 1747 Greenville, South Carolina, USA
died: 8 May 1828 Simpson, Kentucky, USA

I haven't tracked them any further because I know that some of the info obtained so far can't be correct. For example, my notes show that he married Elizabeth Thompson about 1767 in South Carolina and had 7 children with her. But, my notes also show that he married Mary Mercy 28 Apr 1768. Hmmm - not possible. So something MAJOR is messed up here...

RE: James Stephenson
Yes, my records show that Capt James Stevenson (b 1744) was my 5 great-grandfather and that his wife was Mary Mercy Young, born 1747 in Greenville, South Carolina.

What information do you need?

Ezekiel Amos Adams
I would like to thank you for posting the photo of Ezekiel Amos Adams and his wife. He is my great great grandfather and that is the only picture I have ever seen of him.
Thank you
