RE: Delia Grady
I should have added: The year of death would have been 1895 because the list New Haven deaths in the city directory was a list for the dates between May 1, 1895 and May 1, 1896.

RE: Delia Grady
I think I did find it in the Hale Index, but in going back to look, this is all I find:
[Delia Grady
in the Connecticut, Deaths and Burials Index, 1650-1934
Record Image No Image
Text-only collection

Name: Delia Grady
Death Place: New Haven, Connecticut
Gender: Female
FHL Film Number: 3132]

[in the New Haven city directory of 1896, page 792, a Delia Grady is listed as having died Nov. 25, age 30 years] - she was 17 at her marriage, the dates fit. You may want to contact the New Haven Library to see if they would look for an obituary in the New Haven Register microfilm.

If I find any further info, I'll let you know.

RE: Truman Dailey
I believe that Find A Grave's rule is that if a body is moved the old marker is a cenotaph. You can ask the owner of that one to email Find A Grave and they will mark it as such.
They also say to link family to the actual burial and not to the cenotaph.

Willet & Wyllis Hemingway
Adding parents & dates from Families of Ancient NH by Jacobus pg735/6 has Willet & Wyllis, sons of Enos & Sarah, born 29 Jan 1791 & 30 Jan 1791. Both were baptized 17 Apr 1791 EH Congregational church. I checked The East Haven Register by Rev Dodd pub.1824 pg126 has Willet, 29th & Wyllys 30th Jan 1791. I guess one twin came after midnight.

RE: Re: Stauffer Family
John - Why don't you keep the requests for now and see if someone has better luck. My grandparents are buried there I visit them often so I'll keep looking too. JIM

Stauffer family
I searched the entire Middlebury cemetery and could not find any of the Stauffer family you had listed as being there. Is it possible they are in a different cemetery? I didn't see any Stauffer name in the Hale records for Middlebury cemetery either. My wife and I had a nice walk though. Keep the names posted maybe we missed them.

RE: Transfer Inquiry

I am not related to Michael Rayder, just a find a grave volunteer and I'll transfer him to you. Would you like the rest of the Rayder family as well? If you don't I can keep them. I always like to offer. My goal in starting this was help people find lost family members. Someday I hope to manage many less monuments than I have created.
