I started working on my family's genealogy|
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore, Derby and LaFountain.
For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses.
Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is to you. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose. I would also like to add that asking nicely will go much farther than rude demands.
Please send all requests for corrections, links, bios and transfers using the edit tab on the memorial.
I will not make any links when the final disposition is not known. If you do not know the final disposition, you should not be creating a memorial. This is a grave registration site, not a place to build your family tree. Per the FAQs a memorial with a correct known burial location will always take preference over a burial unknown.
I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

I can see the confusion, I am still attempting to sort it all out. Unfortunately, the records on Deer Isle are sketchy, but I have Connie (at DISHS) looking into it as well.
If I ever sort it out I will let you know what I find
Thanks for the transfers! I appreciate it!

Edits are done, and my duplicate is removed. Thanks for transferring.
Would you be willing to do the same for Mary Alice (100060129) and Truman Jr (100060206)?

I was hoping that you would be willing to transfer Truman Smith (#100059969) to me. He is my second great-grandfather.
I actually had created another entry for him (#137312109), not realizing you had previously done this one. I only realized it as I was getting ready to take photos of the grave myself.
In either case, I am going to try to merge the records, but it would be nice to do so after both records "belong" to one or the other of us.

|R. W. Keyes||Isaac R Longever|
Hello, you have William Longever, b. 1860, as the child of Isaac Roy Longever, who died in 1954. This is incorrect. Isaac Roy was born 10 Oct 1899 in Keene, to Isaac Longever Jr. and Nellie Hennigan Longever (who is my great-grand aunt). He Married Iona Wilder and had children Joseph Henry, Anne Lillian, Roy I., and Charles William.
William Longever 1860=1927 was Isaac Roy Longever's uncle, born to Isaac Langevin and Elizabeth Goodrow Longever.

I know, sometimes I just get anxious, and sometimes I just use it as an excuse to add flowers. Don't take it personal...

Thank you, Ruby!
