Bio Photo I am a VETERINARIAN,SCIENTIST and MUSICIAN. My interests are varied and diverse and among them is GENEALOGY and PERSONAL FAMILY HISTORY. I was born in MOBILE at the old BLESSED MARTIN De PORRES HOSPITAL located on WILKINSON STREET 1 block East
OF WASHINGTON AVENUE. (THE ORIGINAL BUILDING)I retired in 2009 and I became a veterinarian in 1969.In September of 1971 I opened the St. Stephens Animal Clinic for pet animal medical care thus becoming the first person of color to enter private practice in the state of Alabama.
I received a B.S degree in CHEMISTRY& BIOLOGY in 1964, the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1969 and the B.S. In Animal Science in 1969. I taught public school and worked as a professional musician also.

Unbeknown to me but your father's headstone picture has already been published. Besides the ones I took he is also found in Mobile National Cemetery's site on findagrave. I didn't know that MNC and Magnolia Cemetery are on the same section of land but two different cemeteries. The man at Magnolia office educated me on that point as many people think that their veteran family member is at Magnolia when they are actually at MNC just steps away. See #2946369 for the MNC input,mine is on #121125719 which is from your request. You may want to combine the best info of both. I hope my input helps.
