Daniel Haddox
If you will read the stone for Lucinda Haddox it is the stone for her that says she died 1850 and she was the consort of Daniel Haddox he died twenty years later.

Thanks for the heads up-the contributor posted the marker photograph for the wrong memorial-she has been contacted and asked to correct. Thanks again!

RE: Discrepancy Between Tombstone and Memorial
The tombstone shows the parents as W. T. and M.F. Herd. The memorial states the parents are Samuel A. Herd and Pernecia Jane Megee Herd. Even allowing for nicknames and additional given names, this would be a very unlikely match.

I dunno, bunches of Herd's at Lutie Cemetery. Based on the information provided, I'm not sure which Herd or if in fact it is one that is buried at Lutie.

RE: Discrepancy Between Tombstone and Memorial
Got the wrong parents information, but totally loss my mind reading abilities when it actually came to the child's memorial in question. Lost in Lutie

Jones Ledbetter
I saw your message about the Ledbetter line and thought this might help. If you are on Ancestry, you can go to 'Search' and then 'card catalog' and search on 'Ledbetters From Virginia'. This wonderful book, though far from complete, is very helpful for the earlier generations of Ledbetters.
Just a thought, hope it helps.

ps; I'm a Ledbetter descendent so feel free to keep in touch.

John K P Ledbetter
Well, it seems that someone has linked a spouse to my memorial page on John Knox Polk Ledbetter. I'm glad you spotted this!!! No, this John K P Ledbetter was an male, white, infant born 6 Sep 1924 and died (with no medical attendance) on 8 Sep 1924. His parents were Burr Ledbetter and Lou Lewis, with Burr Ledbetter of Alpine being the informant. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm going to see about unlinking her as a spouse. :-)

RE: Jones Ledbetter, 75145616
The Jones Ledbetter 38093275 buried at Buckner Ledbetter is shown as the son of William Buckner Ledbetter and Tabitha Jones.
I have no idea who the parents of this Jones Ledbetter 75145616 are, since I inherited this memorial and am not related. There seems to be a great deal of confusion on these gentlemen; until I get some proof, I'd rather not make any changes yet.
