Shelby County Girl
 | RE: Rachel Drake Hi Kylie, I am related to Rachel Drake, but I do not know much about her. Her daughter, Caroline Drake Lee Redmond, was my great grandmother--her son William Joseph Lee Jr. was my grandfather. I would like to know more about the Drakes. I do have a history in Shelby County...both grandparents were born there, but I do not know much about my grandfathter's family. After Caroline's death, my grandfather and his half brothers and half sister lived in the Gordon's Children's home in Shelbyville. the sister, Della Mae died there. Any way, we don't know much, about them. My maternal grandmother, Ruth Hargrove, is the daughter of Leonidas Hagrove, his parents were Alexander and Mary Jane Hargrove. The Hargroves lived in and near Morristown. I would enjoy chatting with you and sharing any tidbits...oh, are you related to the Wolfe family of Morristown, by any chance? Leonidas was married to Emmeiline Wolfe widow of Henry Wolfe. She died in childbith...after the child died also. Well, this was a rambling message, feel free to email me any time..Nora Liederbach | | | Connie Heck
