Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching my family history in November of 2011 and have been bitten hard by the bug ... I have found so many cool things and I can't wait to find more!

I am looking mainly for Battles, Robinson, Weaver, Seibutis, Claussen, Kuehl, and Lengyel (and all spelling variants of Langel) but have also found NUMEROUS other names as my family seems to be more female :-/

I have found family in Alabama (St. Clair, Etowah, DeKalb, Marshall and Blount Counties mostly), Indiana (Porter & Lake Counties mostly), Texas (lots in Waxahachie, Ellis, Texas) as well as Illinois (Lake & Will counties), Tennessee and Iowa (Sac County).

If you have any cemetery requests that I can help you with, please feel free to let me know. I live in Chicagoland so I am willing to go within a reasonable distance from 60452, 46322 or if I am traveling I can go to cemeteries there as well. I am frequently down by Terre Haute Indiana as well so if you need anything down there, just ask!!

If you would like to use any of my photos please feel free as long as you give me a line of credit by linking the photo back to my Find A Grave profile.

Also, I am willing to transfer memorials outside of the FAG guidelines as I feel it is ridiculous to limit what family may have access to the memorials. Please don't ask if they don't belong to your family.

*****I have attempted to ask each and every contributor for permission to use their photos in my family tree. As I have over 4000 people in a few different trees I am sorry if I missed you or used your photo prior to receiving permission. I try to keep them straight and ask (as well as give credit) but sometimes I miss them. Please let me know if I have used your photo without permission!*****

Thank you Jackie & Ralph for finally cooperating and transferring the memorials I requested (the ones you didn't delete that is). I appreciate that you have dedicated so much time and effort into this database.

RE: Wiley Monroe Hester
Yes Sheena, I am a Hester descendant through Lucas Hester and his wife Martha Elledge. We "talked" in March of 2012 when you were just getting started in your genealogy. I sent you quite a bit of info/documents back then to help you get your ground work laid, some of which I recognize you have been able to incorporate into some of your memorials. It is good to see you are still involved in the hunt.

Connections made & DELIGHTED to do it! Thank you for sending them. As far as I'm concerned, everyone should be connected.

Carter Hester @ Forest Park
I see you added a picture request for Carter Hester @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find. They are open on the weekend and I might go Monday so try to get the info.

Thank you,
Cecil Vaden Jr

Napoleon Travioli
Thank you for the nice photo of the Travioli monument. On the left is Napoleon's marker, but on the right is of his sister, Lucinda- - not his wife, Lydia (or Liddia) Loralee. There is a memorial for Lucinda Glover #91708782. Would you add that photo to her memorial? I will do more research and request an update to her memorial. In the meantime, Could Lydia Loralee (Larrabee) Travioli be on one of the other sides of that monument? That is a very interesting Monument/headstone. Thanks again, Sharran Spies #47455779

You have absolutely made my day. I can't believe that you found it. Thats great that the Cemetary has started restoring these old tombstones. It looks really good. Could you turn the photo upright on the Memorial. It is sideways. Was he near his daughter? Anna Welch. WowoI have hunted this man forever since 1980. Thanks Again Carol Sellers

RE: Livingston cemetary
Thanks so much for trying anyway I was hoping that J. Lockard was buried close to his daughter, so it would not be so hard to find. The stone could be broken. I am glad the cemetary is trying to restore these old tombstones. Thanks carol Sellers
