Marie Duhon
I went to St. Louis Cemetery # 3 looking for Marie Duhon. The office told me there was no record of her there. Could she be listed under a different name? If you can call the cemetery and get the location, let me know and I will go get a photo if I can find it.

Distantly kin???
I just found this grave site tanks to your photo and posted info. Jube and Adoiska are my great great grandparents on my mom's side. Their daughter, Evie Derouen Guidry was my great grandmother. We don't know a lot about the Cajun side of our family; thanks to you for helping us rediscover where their final resting place is!

RE: thank you
You're welcome! I also found this LaRocca but they do not have a memorial:

V Timothy LaRocca 2-11-59 to 10-7-92.

If you don't recognize him then I can setup a memorial as time permits.

Rosalie Gendusa photo request
I see you have a photo request at Garden of Memories in Metairie. The cemetery's fairly large and there are currently 63 requests for photos. If you can call the cemetery and find out which section your person is in, I'll be happy to try to locate the grave and take a photo for you. The phone number of the cemetery office is 504- 833-3786.

Well hello, long time no hear. I have been extremely busy. All is well here. I hope that it is on your end as well. Amy Derouen Romero's husband Sylvan is related atleast 5 generations back. Their grand son Robert Romero was my dad's best friend growing up. They are buried only 6 or 7 blocks away from my childhood home.

RE: cemetery

That was nice of you to offer to help index their records. It would take a large database program wouldn't it?
I often thought of calling the Mormons to see how they record all the records they have in Utah.

When Pipkin funeral home was bought out the new owners would have kept the old records if they existed. You might try calling Broussards Mortuary and see if they might be able to answer your question.

Good luck.
