|Historybuff||RE: Isaac Duckwiler|
My line is Isaac and Salinahs daughter Nancy married George Doran had Samuel. He married Rebecca Larkey and they had Kelly Isaac Doran, my great-grandfather. He married Ethel Hensley and had 8 children one of which was my Grandma Cledith Borda Doran who married Chuck Bresher. They had my Mom, Marty Bresher who never married. Now there is me. If u ever go onto WikiTree i have traced back to Isaac and Salinah. I know their fathers names but not where they are buried or birth or death dates. Nothing on their mothers either.
Hello long lost cousin! What line do u come from with Isaac? Mine is Duckwiler-Doran-Bresher. Glad to meet an unknown family member on here!
Terri - this is strange - my Dad was born in Huntington and his mom and dad are buried in Woodmere. The coincidence is that my full name is Kathryn Lucille Massey Rady. I noticed your Great Aunt Katie. I can't help but wonder if they knew each other (Bob Massey and your aunt?)
|Kathryn Rady||Wolfe family|
If you have access to Ancestry, I have a LOT on the Wolfe family from Lewis county, WV. I also have an obit of one of the Abraham Wolfes (there were at least 3) which is very interesting. I believe this group of Wolfes came from the Netherlands in the early 1700s. I think it was Jacob Wolfe. If you don't have a membership, Ancestry offers a free 2 week membership. As long as you cancel before the 2 weeks is up it is truly free. Look for the Massey family. And if your Adkins came from Kentucky we may be related on my Mom's side. It seems many Mullins (Mom's maiden name) have actually DNA tested to be Adkins and NOT Mullins.
Good luck with your search. I ended up with a photo of my Paternal Grandmother, Margaret Emily Wolfe Massey that I never knew existed.
