I love researching my family history. I am 50ish, female with husband and 2 children. I especially love pictures of relatives and graves. My family lines are Dale, Honea, Adams, Fowler, Tanner, Wilson, Leckie, Chamblee, Reed , Langley, Goss, and Davis. If anyone has any information, please e-mail me.|
Thanks and happy searching!

All I can think to do is go to the County deeds office and research deeds and plats from the 70s; we can assume that the cemetery was extant at that time(?)since it was it the book you ref'ed.
Sharon and I were on a mission trip I led last week to Appalachia; we had 6 adults and 8 teen boys. Great trip!

I've looked over aerial photography of the area and cannot find anything around there that looks like graves. Could graves have been in the way of I-985 and been moved?

I'd be happy to take on the management of Jemima Barber Vandiver's memorial. She's the sister of my ancestor so I'm not a direct descendent, but I could certainly keep and continue to update her memorial until a direct descendent requests management. I'm always finding things on Ancestry to add to the Find A Grave archive, esp. memorial Bio sections of family, however extended. Just let me know. All best, ajf #48344701

You're very welcome. It looks as if there are a number of unmarked graves according to Find A Grave & even fairly recent cemetery books. I plan to visit again in the fall/winter to see if there are some graves I did not spot because of overgrown vegetation.

|Jackie Neal-Wallace||Nellie Tanner|
Hi Karen, Eternal Hills has no record of a Nellie Tanner listed, however buried next to Mose Tanner is a Ruth J. Tanner with same birth and death dates, would this be her, if so I have the picture of Ruth just let me know and I can post?

The Reed Cemetery in flowery branch is off a road that leads to an electic
business right next to Wrigleys Chewing Gum factory but I have forgotten the name of the road but I am going to Gainesville Saturday and I will find out the name of the road for you but the graves are located off in the woods and I guess I would have to meet you there and we will search together if you wish!!!! My dad took me to it but he died last year. But the only grave I saw with a name on it was Martin Reed. His daughter Mary Jane was married to my great grandfather James Tanner. Hey I have been trying to find any info I could on that family and I would surely appreaciate any help you could give me. Maybe with both of us working on this we can find out alot
|Judy K. Brantley/Wilson||Gladys Brantley's family|
Hi, Gladys was married to my father, but of course, she died long ago and so did he. Her daughter, Jerrie Gail might know or my brother William Brantley. Jerri Gail is Gladys' daughter. William is my dad's first child by a first marriage, I am by the second marriage. Can you send me a copy of the picture and I will see what I can do to help you. I never hear from any of this part of the family, so I was thrilled when I got your note. Please send it to WindyWindy1919@yahoo.com. Did you see Glady's page here on findagrave? I wish you would leave flowers for her - I guess I am the only one who does, so it would be nice for someone in her family to do it.

If you take the photo (the one the flash sorta ruined) to a photo restorer they can pull up the faces and improve them. Then you would have photos you could put in a frame. I did that with some of mine. N
