Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. Since I am of no relation to Katherine, I will transfer her memorial to you.
Here is the obit for Katherine, which was published in the Barrington Review, dated Thursday, Oct. 22, 1925:
Mrs. Katherine Ebel
Katherine Ebel, widow of the late Joseph Ebel, passed away last Thursday, October 15, at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 15 days. She was born in Ravensheim, Germany, on December 30, 1852, and came to America with her first husband, Karl Deutchler, in the year 1881. After his death she was married, March 23, 1884, to her second husband, Joseph Ebel, and moved on a farm 4 miles west of Barrington, in Algonquin township, where she lived and died. The funeral services were held Monday, October 19, in St. Paul's church and interment took place in Evergreen cemetery.
She leaves a great many relatives to mourn her death. One son Emil Deutchler, by her first marriage; Henry, Otto, Theodore and Clarence Ebel, and Mrs. Elsie Hart by her second marriage; four stepchildren, Albert and Herman Ebel, Mrs. Anna Hartes and Mrs. Emma Martens; 38 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
